Morro Bay Scenes

A trip to Morro Bay a couple of weeks ago yielded it's usual batch of photos. I took these three and played with them a bit for a different look.

Almost full moon

Driving home from San Luis Obispo Wednesday night, I just had to stop the car and get a picture of the almost full moon.  Turning around in the other direction, I watched the marine layer creep over the hills.

Almost missed this one - we were watching a movie and I got up to get a beverage and noticed it....ran to put some shoes on and grab my camera.  Thank goodness for the pause button!

Necklaces

I purchased a new necklace holder awhile back - and I love seeing how the hanging necklaces turn into interesting shapes and colors when photographed close-up! 

Black Velvet Petunia

Black flowers are very rare.  I saw this basket of petunias in a nursery when we picked up some plants for our yard.

Two Versions of 2 Bridges

Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River at Marble Canyon in Arizona

The bridge on the left is the original, completed in 1928 and which is now a pedestrian bridge.  The bridge on the right is the new bridge completed in the 90's.
