Some November photos

And early morning trip to the lake results in this highly processed photo of some moss

These reeds reminded me of my pick up sticks I used to have

This yound buck strolled through our yard one morning, along with 6 does

We always get excited when we see our resident roadrunner - he (or she) speeds through our yard occasionally

This is a processed photo of an ice plant I saw along the beach.

Hopefully I'll do better at posting.

I didn't have much luck with flowers in my little garden this year because of the hungry critters, but a few zinnias which we planted in pots managed to survive.  I love their vibrant colors.

Who knew you could have so much fun with a basket of rocks????

I love, love, love my iPad.  It gives me something to do while I'm waiting for my breakfast at Joe's.

On the Pier at Cayucos

A couple of weeks ago we drove over to Cayucos - after a hearty breakfast, we took a walk out on the pier, where I snapped the following photos.

 Beachy Refreshments
 Fanciful Fishing Footwear

This is a photo I took with my ipad of the pencils on my desk, then processed the photo with picnik.  I think it looks like a batik!

A Peachy Reflection

We received 2 bags of tree ripened peaches several days ago.  I have made peach preserves and a peach pie and I still have 1 bag left!  So now they are posing for me.

Morro Bay Scenes

A trip to Morro Bay a couple of weeks ago yielded it's usual batch of photos. I took these three and played with them a bit for a different look.

Almost full moon

Driving home from San Luis Obispo Wednesday night, I just had to stop the car and get a picture of the almost full moon.  Turning around in the other direction, I watched the marine layer creep over the hills.

Another June Sunset

Almost missed this one - we were watching a movie and I got up to get a beverage and noticed it....ran to put some shoes on and grab my camera.  Thank goodness for the pause button!

I purchased a new necklace holder awhile back - and I love seeing how the hanging necklaces turn into interesting shapes and colors when photographed close-up!

Black Velvet Petunia

Black flowers are very rare.  I saw this basket of petunias in a nursery when we picked up some plants for our yard.

Two Versions of 2 Bridges

Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River at Marble Canyon in Arizona
The bridge on the left is the original, completed in 1928 and which is now a pedestrian bridge.  The bridge on the right is the new bridge completed in the 90's.
