 We always get excited when we see our resident roadrunner - he (or she) speeds through our yard occasionally

Zinnias

I didn't have much luck with flowers in my little garden this year because of the hungry critters, but a few zinnias which we planted in pots managed to survive.  I love their vibrant colors.

A Peachy Reflection

We received 2 bags of tree ripened peaches several days ago.  I have made peach preserves and a peach pie and I still have 1 bag left!  So now they are posing for me.

Driving home from San Luis Obispo Wednesday night, I just had to stop the car and get a picture of the almost full moon.  Turning around in the other direction, I watched the marine layer creep over the hills.

Two Versions of 2 Bridges

Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River at Marble Canyon in Arizona

The bridge on the left is the original, completed in 1928 and which is now a pedestrian bridge.  The bridge on the right is the new bridge completed in the 90's.
